About Us History Our club was first established in October of 2004 under the name of Open Eye Gaming Club. Our first AGM was held in the July of 2005 and in August the club's name changed to Border Games Albury Wodonga. The change was made to help raise awareness of what the club is about (the public had no idea what Open Eye meant) and where it was located. We felt this was important if we wanted to attract new members and better inform other clubs and gamers from around Australia as to our exact location. AGM The club's AGM is held on the first Saturday of August each year and begins at 10am. The main purpose of the AGM is to re-elect all major posts within the club. It is also a forum for regular members to raise questions, ideas and\or concerns. This years AGM will be on Saturday the 2nd of August and will be held at our Trudewind Headquarters. Monthly Meetings We have recently scrapped monthly meetings as they were getting in the way of gaming and creating a level of beaurocracy that was not needed. Meetings now take place informally as required, with members knowing who they can talk to if they have a suggestion. Club Catering - Lunch The club now provides a cooked lunch every week due to popular demand. Summer is the home of club BBQ's, whilst Winter sees the inroduction of Hotdogs. We sometimes mix and match if feedback is suggesting that we need a change.
