What is Descent: Journeys in the Dark?
Descent: Journeys in the Dark (DjitD) is a hack and slash fantasy boardgame. Based on fantasy role playing setting s like Dungeons & Dragons, DjitD allows each player to take on the role of a hero that must complete various quests to defeat evil and gather hordes of treasure. One player must play as the 'Overlord Player' and they are responsible for setting out the dungeon as it is explored by the players. The 'Overlord' also controls the vast hordes of beasts that are trying to kill the heroes and generally stop them from fulfillng their quest.
DjitD goes beyond the average dungeon crawl game to allow for characters that possess a variety of skills, equipment and potions. The combat system is cleverly designed to use a range of dice that determine the damage, range and special abilities of every attack. The average game of DjitD takes between 3-5 hours.

We thought it would be fun to keep a Descent page, where we can record the results of how each character and player go as they take on the many dungeos and beasts of DjinD.
