Welcome to Formula De
Formula De is a faithful simulation of the F1 \ Cart racing circuits that take place each year on the sporting calendar. Formula De uses large scale boards to represent many of the real world tracks, past and present. Players can play as individual drivers or play in teams to compete on each circuit. The game uses mechanics such as advanced car set-ups and realistic cornering to simulate the experience of racing F1 vehicles.
Each vehicle has a 6 speed gearbox with each gear requiring the use of a different sized dice. This lends the game much of its strategy as players must determine which gear will best allow them to decelarate and accelerate into and out of corners.
The 2008 Season
The club is running a Winter and Summer Season, each of which will consist of 6 events. Both of these Seasons can be accessed using the links on the left panel of this page. Formula De will run on the 2nd Saturday of each Month in 2008.
