BCG - What is ConVic?
ConVic is a 3 day board game event hosted by Billabong Board games and more specifically Julian Clarke of Melbourne. The event is held bi-annually and allows people to come and experience board gaming (Euro gaming) in a relaxed atmosphere.
ConVic 3
ConVic3 was held on the 13-15th of January 2006, and it was the first event of its type to be attended by members of Border Games. Neil, Patty, Bruce and Pip attended all 3 days and had a great time meeting new people, making friends and playing games they had heard of but never seen before.
In all approximately 120 people attended over the 3 days (this is bums on seats and not individual people). The location was Amaroo Neighbourhood House in Amaroo Court, Chadstone.
Our very own Bruce won the Best Sport of the Weekend Award, which was a trophy of a golden turkey! They summed him up pretty quick.
